The Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program provides grants to reduce or eliminate the risk of repetitive flood damage to buildings and structures under the National Flood Insurance Program. Grants support development or updates to local hazard mitigation planning and implementation of flood mitigation projects.
Local governments apply as subapplicants to PEMA.
