Farm-A-Syst

Farm-A-Syst, or FAS, is a self-evaluation program that allows farmers and/or their advisors to assess their farming practices with respect to water resources protection. This national program was adopted for Pennsylvania in the 1990’s as a series of paper worksheets to promote awareness about site conditions that degrade water resources. Today, selected FAS topics have been adapted to a digital format and combined with mapping technology in PESTlogics to make farm assessments easy and readily accessible.
