Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Funding of PA Projects

Working in partnership with government agencies and private corporations, the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation administers the Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund. This Fund awards $40 million to $60 million per year through four competitive grant programs—the Innovative Nutrient and Sediment Reduction (INSR) Grants Program, the Small Watershed Grants Program, the Chesapeake Watershed Investments for Landscape Defense (WILD) Grants Program, and the Pennsylvania Most Effective Basins Grants Program.

Ever wonder what all these programs support? See the attached for the most recent slate of grantees for the INSR, Small Watersheds, and PA Most Effective Basins grant programs.  (2022/2023)

Find out what projects are active in your area.

Projects cover a range of activities: ag conservation practices, stream buffers, floodplain restoration, green infrastructure, capacity building of local organizations, stormwater filtering devices, data management, technical assistance partnerships, and watershed planning.
