The Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) is hosting a two-day workshop for leading experts to discuss the use of biochar and its integration into current Chesapeake Bay protocols. Demostration projects in the Chesapeake Bay region have shown significant environmental benefits from the integration of biochar in practice, including water quality improvement, improved soil health, and increased soil infiltration.
The workshop will be held in-person at the Hotel Hershey, as well as with virtual options, on May 25 and 26, 2023.
