WHAT: 3rd Annual Great Plastic Purge of the Lower Susquehanna

WHEN: Saturday, October 15 from 10am-3pm & Sunday, October 16 from 10am-3pm

WHERE: 4 Clean Up Locations in York and Lancaster Counties

On October 15 and 16, the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association and partners are hosting the 3rd Annual Great Plastic Purge of the Lower Susquehanna. This clean-up effort will occur north of and around Lake Clarke on the Susquehanna River, with clean-up locations stationed in Wrightsville, Columbia, and Bainbridge, PA. 

Volunteers are being asked to register for the event online or on the day of the event by showing up to one of the four boat launch locations. Bring your boats to purge the river and small islands of trash, or walk along the banks to clean up the shoreline!
